My classes are well suited for beginners through advanced yogis. Flexibility or the ability to touch your toes is not required. Showing up with a curious and open mind is all that matters. See you in class!

Yoga Nidra at Hot Asana Yoga Studio in Hampstead, NH

Friday, September 21 – 7 PM (use your class pass or $15 for dropins. You do need to register for this class via Hot Asana Studio Hampstead or use their app)

What is yoga nidra?

In Sanskrit, nidra means sleep. In yoga nidra, you remain awake and aware in a focused and calm meditative state. You’ll be in shavasana pose for 60 minutes. Yoga nidra’s purpose is to guide you into a state of deep relaxation where your body releases the autonomic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze) and engages the parasympathetic nervous system. 60 minutes of yoga nidra is the equivalent of 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
